New Back-to-School Plan for Mandan Schools as COVID Cases Continue to Rise

After talking to local health officials, Mandan Public Schools is changing the Fall reentry plan.

Instead of attending in-person, every day, middle school students will rotate between in-person and distanced learning. This is what they’re calling a “Hybrid A/B schedule”.

We anticipate that this will also be implemented for Mandan High School.

The school district said this is being done as a response to the “Rise in (COVID) cases".

The first day of class in Mandan is Aug. 20th. While masks are “Strongly encouraged” for students, all staff members are required to wear face masks/coverings while on school property, when physical distancing isn’t possible.
