Man Charged With Assault For Breathing On Women Outside Of Trump Golf Club

A 61-year-old man from Virginia was charged with two counts of simple assault for allegedly breathing on two women outside of Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.

Video footage posted on Twitter showed the man, identified as Raymond Deskins, arguing with two women who were protesting against President Donald Trump.

As Deskins is looking into the camera, another woman can be heard telling him: "Get away from me."

"You don't get up in somebody's face," she tells him.

Deskins, who was wearing a Make America Great Again t-shirt and a Donald Trump inflatable pool tube around his waist, starts walking towards the woman and tells her, "I'm not in anybody's face."

"You are in my face, and you don't have a mask, so you need to back up," she responds.

Deskins then proceeds to exhale forcefully towards the woman.

"That's assault," one of the women screamed.

"I breathed on you," Deskins yelled as he exhaled on the woman filming.

The women contacted the police, who launched an investigation into the incident.

"Two separate parties reported they were assaulted during a verbal argument outside of Trump National Golf Club," the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. "As the incident was not witnessed by law enforcement and the video did not capture the entire interaction, an investigation was conducted on scene, and both parties were advised they could go to a Loudoun County Magistrate and seek a citizen obtained warrant."

After obtaining a warrant for simple assault, authorities filed charges against Deskins, and he was released with a summons to appear in court.
