Kacey Musgraves surprised the crowd at a Texas saloon when she took the stage on karaoke night.

The Deeper Well star, 36, signed up for karaoke under a fake name when she arrived at Round-Up Saloon and Dance Hall, a popular LGBTQ+ venue in Dallas. Musgraves used the name “Bianca Valentine” when she performed “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, “Believe” by Cher and “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton. Videos recorded by bar goers circulated on TikTok and Instagram in the days following Musgraves’ surprise pop-up performance for an intimate crowd.

“You just never know who is going to show up at the world famous Round-Up Saloon,” reads a caption on Round-Up Saloon’s Instagram account. “Thank you [Kacey Musgraves] for visiting our gay honkytonk and having fun with us at Maybeleen’s Monday Karaoke! You’re welcome anytime!”

One commenter “thought I was just imagining things omg. That ‘Believe’ karaoke was everything.” Another “would’ve literally cried omg.” Another cheered for “Bianca Valentine,” and applauded the cover of Parton’s iconic anthem.

Musgraves, who is from Golden, Texas, made Grammy Award history earlier this year as the first artist ever to win all four country categories throughout her career. She went on to release her fifth studio record, Deeper Well, followed by the extended edition months later. The project included “Cardinal,” “Deeper Well,” “Too Good to be True,” “The Architect” and more. Musgraves wrapped up her world tour earlier this month with back-to-back nights in Nashville, Tennessee. The tour included stops weeks earlier at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
