Authorities in Vermont are investigating two separate incidents wherein sticky-fingered miscreants stole sizeable props from the set of the Beetlejuice sequel being filmed in the state. The odd crime wave reportedly began in the early morning of July 14th in the community of East Corinth when a nefarious individual in a pickup truck was observed pilfering a pumpkin-topped lamppost that was to be featured in the follow-up to Tim Burton's wildly popular 1988 horror-comedy classic. Remarkably, as police were looking into the stolen prop, they received word that the movie set was struck a second time just a few days later.
