Residents of a village in Peru claim that they are being terrorized by mysterious beings that some have suggested are aliens and their peculiar predicament has led to authorities descending on the community in the hopes of getting to the bottom of the eerie invasion. According to a local media report, the very strange case began last month when people living in the district of Alto Nanay began encountering the odd interlopers who seemingly displayed the ability to levitate. "These gentlemen are aliens. They seem armored like the Green Goblin from Spider-Man," declared community leader Jairo Reátegui Ávila, who went to explain that "I have shot him twice and he does not fall, but rises and disappears. We are frightened by what is happening."
